Searching Smarter: Literature Strategies for Your SoTL Project In-Person

Do you have an interest in doing research on a teaching and learning topic? Are you interested in how your instructional choices affect student learning? A Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) project might be right for you! Join us as we explore effective and efficient ways for locating higher education research to inform your SoTL work. We will explore how to pick the right search tools; construct a search and revise it to refine your results; and connect you with other relevant resources to complete a SoTL research project.

Who should attend? This session is ideal for instructors, educational staff, graduate students, and anyone interested in beginning a (SoTL) project or improving their ability to locate and evaluate higher‑education research.

Date/Time: April 15th , 12:30-2 pm, MacPherson Institute Classroom

This session is offered in partnership between the MacPherson Institute and the Teaching & Learning Library Team.
