Wee-Finding! Inclusive Mapping with ArcGIS Indoors: Wayfinding McMaster Gender Neutral Washrooms In-Person

Join the McMaster Trans Advocacy Group (MTAG), EngiQueers and the DeGroote School of Business for the promotion of ArcGIS Indoors McMaster to celebrate the work of the Smart Campus initiative (ESRI Canada, the Michael DeGroote School of Business and the Faculty of Humanities). 

McMaster is implementing ArcGIS to provide an outdoor and indoor navigation experience to the McMaster community. Connecting the Smart Campus Initiative with the Queer knowledge on campus of the gender-neutral washrooms was the goal of McMaster Trans Advocacy Group (MTAG) and the EngiQueers.  

Come celebrate the inclusive wayfinding of gender-neutral washrooms and the wayfinding team, learn about this initiative, and connect Queer groups across campus! 

Learn with us about ArcGIS Indoors and how to digitally wayfinding campus (specifically gender-neutral washrooms), about Queer groups at McMaster, and engage in a scavenger hunt to win prizes!

Details: The Sherman Centre for Digital Scholarship is on the first floor of Mills Memorial Library. SCDS is through the main first-floor entrance, and then straight to the back with the yellow doors in the alcove, next to the wall with a TV screen mural. This workshop will not be recorded.
