Learn How to Use a Green Screen (Creativity Series) In-Person

This beginner-level workshop will introduce learners to filming and editing green screen, paying special attention to lighting, editing technique and the creative potential of this medium. The first portion of the session will be spent in Lyons New Media Centre's Media Production Studio, where you will learn how to capture footage in front of a green screen. The second half of the workshop will take place at the Computer Lab, where you will learn how to use Adobe Premiere Pro to edit the green screen footage and add original backgrounds of your choosing.

No experience, software, or equipment is required. Everything is available in Lyons New Media Centre.

The Creativity Series is a series of workshops run by Lyons New Media Centre in Mills Memorial Library. These workshops aim to ignite the creative sides of our brains while teaching hands-on media skills such as video production, photo editing, and digital art.
