The Advocacy Article Club In-Person
The Advocacy Article club is a group hosted by two McMaster Library Ambassadors (Veronica and Matt) where we gather once a month to discuss an article. The article for our February 6th meeting is Sara Ahmed’s “Whose Counting?”, which is accessible through the McMaster Library. Simply visit https://library.mcmaster.ca/ and type “Sara Ahmed Whose Counting” into the search bar.
Conversation can be expected to be loosely guided by the following keywords and questions:
keywords/concepts: feminism; patriarchy; theory
guiding questions:
- whose voice(s) get counted as "theory"?
- whose voice(s) do not?
- why does this matter?
We encourage you to bring your thoughts, perspectives, and questions to discuss!
