Dr. Claudia Emerson - Data Ethics and Governance (RDM Community of Practice) Online
McMaster has a new Community of Practice for Research Data Management (RDM)! We meet the last Thursday of every month at 11 AM to learn together across all levels of RDM expertise. We begin each meeting with a 30-minute guest presentation, followed by a roundtable conversation.
On March 30 at 11 AM, Dr. Claudia Emerson (Director, Institute on Ethics & Policy for Innovation) will join us to discuss data ethics and Research Data Management (RDM). Dr. Emerson’s work connects bioethics, epidemiology, public health, law, anthropology, and philosophy. If your research intersects with any of those fields, this session is for you! Researchers at all levels and across all disciplines are welcome.
We’re also welcoming sessions from folks doing RDM across the university, so if you’re working on data sharing, reproducibility, or other questions, email rdm@mcmaster.ca.
