Diasporic Dreams: Afrofuturism as Anti-oppression In-Person

In honour of Black History Month, sit with us for a reading of imagined new worlds where time, space and reality are malleable, filled with hope and promise for an equitable tomorrow. McMaster University Libraries and the Equity and Inclusion Office invite you to dream with us for new and vibrant futures, free from oppression and anti-Black racism at our event, Diasporic Dreams. A reading from the canon of Afrofuturist literature, we will bring to you greats like Octavia Butler, W.E.B DuBois and more! There will be tasty pan-African and Caribbean fare, coupled with a book giveaway!
